Description
The Alaska Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education, within the Alaska Department of Health, is seeking information from qualified disability services organizations capable of providing instructor and skills training staff for a potential new adult Project SEARCH site. The program would serve adults with disabilities who are no longer enrolled in school and would operate through workplace immersion with a host business, following Project SEARCH curriculum, licensing, fidelity requirements, and technical assistance protocols. The requested capabilities include daily site operations and participant training, employment planning, coordination with vocational rehabilitation staff, families, host-business managers, and other partners, direct one-on-one job skills training, assessments, data entry, reporting, and support for internship rotations and job placement. Respondents must describe relevant experience, program outcomes and data, curriculum experience, data collection and reporting capabilities, staffing plans, estimated costs, project and transition timelines, and availability to begin within six months. This is an RFI for market research and does not itself obligate the state to conduct a solicitation or award a contract.
