Description
The City seeks a provider for janitorial services at city-sponsored events on an as-needed basis, with approximately 75 events annually, including events that may occur simultaneously and serve 500 to 5,000 attendees. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, cleaning products, consumables, supplies, and transportation needed to keep event sites clean, sanitary, safe, and event-ready. Services include pre-event preparation, continuous event-day restroom and waste services, post-event cleanup, and deep cleaning such as pressure washing, gum and graffiti removal, window cleaning, high dusting, floor scrubbing, drain cleaning, and mold treatment. The scope also requires uniformed staff, a dedicated account manager, staffing and incident reports, and service-completion and supply-inventory reports. Proposals must include a fixed hourly rate for regular and holiday work by janitor and supervisor categories. The contract is for two years, with an option for one additional two-year renewal term. The solicitation requires three signed reference questionnaires and several completed proposal forms and affidavits; the proposal must be submitted electronically through DemandStar.
