Description
The Technology Application Program Office (TAPO) is seeking information regarding vendors capable of providing non-recurring engineering support and development of trade studies for modifications to the existing Improved Vibration Control System (IVCS) installed on the MH-47 Chinook helicopter. This includes integration and flight testing, full-scale production, and comprehensive support. The government is specifically interested in capabilities related to: * Improved Vibration Control System Trade Study Support: Refining vibration damping models using flight test data. * System Design & Production: Modifying the contractor's proprietary IVCS hardware and software. * Legacy IVCS Upgrade: Provisioning and installing updates for existing proprietary IVCS systems. * Program Management: Oversight of logistics, documentation, reporting, budget, risk, and schedule. * Sustainment Services: Configuration and obsolescence management, engineering services, and technical support. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this opportunity is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. A CMMC Level 2 clearance is required. Vendors must be U.S. sources qualified to receive export-controlled technical information and possess a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification Program (JCP) approved DD Form 2345.
