Description
Franklin County is soliciting sealed unit-price bids for the replacement of the County Route 27 bridge over Roaring Brook (BIN 3363340) and reconstruction of approximately 380 linear feet of approach roadway. The scope includes all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and incidental construction necessary to remove and replace the existing bridge and connect the proposed structure to the adjacent highways. The project is a Federal Aid Project and must comply with the applicable New York State Department of Transportation standard specifications. Bids must include the materials identified in Divisions 00 03 and 00 04, including non-collusion and lobbying forms, and must be accompanied by bid security of at least 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds, maintain an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT before award, and submit a valid New York State Department of Labor Certificate of Registration with the bid. The project has 0% DBE, MWBE, and SDVOB goals, but includes employment goals of 2.5% minority employment and 6.9% women employment. Substantial completion is required within 18 calendar weeks of mobilization, with final completion by November 5, 2027.
