Description
Shared Health Manitoba is conducting a Request for Information to investigate future purchasing options for its computed tomography program. The organization expects to replace CT systems in two categories: mid-to-high-end standard scanners for community and rural hospitals, supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient examinations; and high-end advanced scanners for acute and academic sites, supporting complex studies including advanced cardiac imaging. Photon-counting scanners are not being considered. Respondents must provide technical specification sheets for their full currently available CT product line, preferably in an Excel summary chart, identify models and features expected by January 2028, recommend a model for each scanner category with supporting rationale, describe post-processing licensing and proprietary capabilities, identify upgrade paths for existing scanners where applicable, and provide pre-installation guides. The RFI is for information-gathering purposes and does not constitute a commitment to purchase.
