Description
Missouri Western State University seeks a qualified agricultural producer to lease approximately 143.5 tillable acres for row crop production. The property is currently used for hay and Johnson grass, has no irrigation, and consists of non-conjoined acreage. The proposer must provide annual rent pricing and describe farming experience, crop rotation, soil fertility and health practices, weed and pest management, erosion control, drainage, field-border maintenance, equipment, and complaint resolution. The questionnaire also requests information about environmental violations and specified legal findings, plus at least three client references. The anticipated lease term is three years, expected to run from approximately February 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030. Rent is to remain firm for the term, with payments made semi-annually on a schedule determined by the University. A mandatory site visit is not required. The solicitation states that a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit is required only if required by the University.
