Description
The U.S. Navy is conducting market research to identify potential sources for Myrtha Skin, custom gutter profiles, and a ballistic panel system for a maritime assault training facility at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The requirements include Myrtha Skin, a rugged SST roll material with a PVC membrane, to mitigate pool closure due to refinishing requirements and material lifecycle. Additionally, a custom gutter profile is required along the entire perimeter of the pool basin due to the expected wave height. A ballistic panel system, manufactured by Patriot Products LLC, is also required. This system should consist of movable ballistic partitions using a grid-patterned track system for maximum reconfiguration, utilizing 3/8" AR500 steel panels covered in gum rubber. Vendors are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement package demonstrating their ability to provide these products with the specified requirements. The response date for this sources sought notice is June 25, 2026.
