Description
The City of Cincinnati is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for parties interested in developing and operating a Mercantile Energy Aggregation Program (MAP) and/or providing additional local clean energy generation and other methods to achieve carbon neutrality. The program aims to offer eligible mercantile electric customers (commercial and industrial users consuming over 700,000 kWh annually) access to carbon-free energy through an opt-in aggregation program. Offerors can submit proposals for one, two, or all three options: Option 1 (MAP), Option 2 (Additional Local Carbon-Free Energy Generation/Storage), and Option 3 (Energy Programs for Mercantile Customers). The City reserves the right to award contracts to one or multiple offerors.
