Description
The City of Cincinnati is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for investment management services to manage a portion of its fixed income portfolio. The City's Treasury manages all active and inactive funds, with assets totaling approximately $900 million as of December 31, 2025. The selected Offeror will manage a separate investment portfolio of up to $300 million and provide investment consulting services to the City Treasurer, who will manage the remainder of the portfolio. The services also include periodic review and proposed changes to the City's Investment Policy, assisting in developing a prudent diversification strategy, and attending Investment Committee meetings to provide reports on portfolio performance and economic conditions. The proposed contract term is an initial three years with two optional one-year renewals. The City is seeking a fee proposal that is all-inclusive, covering investment management, client reporting, performance measurement, and an annual meeting with the City's Investment Committee. The fee structure can be a flat annual fee, a fee based on assets under management (quoted in basis points), or a combination of both. Offerors must have an Assets Under Management (AUM) of over $10 billion.
