Description
The Department of the Navy is soliciting a complete heated-head window assembly for a critical shipboard system. The assembly must conform to Kollmorgen Drawing 887F050034 and Naval Sea Systems Command drawing PL050034, with specified stainless-steel and fused-silica components, material traceability, and required hydrostatic, acceptance, optical, thermal-shock, corrosion, and nondestructive testing as applicable. This is a restricted procurement: only sources with an acceptable Quality Control Manual are eligible for award. Contractors must maintain an ISO 9001-based quality system, or an acceptable MIL-I-45208A alternative, and provide extensive material, test, inspection, traceability, and compliance certifications. The complete RFP package must be signed and returned by the closing date; emailed or faxed proposals are acceptable, but NECO quotes are not accepted. Final delivery is due within 365 days after the effective date of the resulting contract.
