Description
The U.S. Army is conducting a Request for Information to identify laboratories capable of validating Individual Water Treatment Devices (IWTDs). Testing would evaluate the devices' ability to remove microbiological contaminants and toxic industrial chemicals or materials from fresh water in accordance with NSF P248.01 and P248.02 military purification protocols. Qualified laboratories should hold ISO 17025:2017 accreditation or an equivalent certification, be able to evaluate devices under the applicable NSF protocols, develop product-specific test plans, and provide raw, test, and internal-standard data. Responses should describe the laboratory's technical approach, capabilities, relevant experience, personnel, facilities, supporting technical information, business size and socioeconomic status, CAGE and NAICS codes, and any applicable GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. This is an information-gathering notice, not a request for proposals, and no award is guaranteed.
