Description
Centre County seeks professional archaeological services for a Phase I survey associated with the Eagle Creek Sewer Project. The work covers portions of the project’s Area of Potential Effect and Limits of Disturbance within the boundaries of recorded archaeological site 36CE0158. The consultant must review background records and project materials, coordinate with Centre County, SEDA-COG, and the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (PA SHPO), develop a field investigation strategy, conduct the required fieldwork, and prepare a complete report with supporting documentation, maps, photographs, findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The consultant must also respond to reasonable PA SHPO requests for supplemental information and assist with review comments. The final report and supporting materials must be provided electronically in a format suitable for PA-SHARE upload. The quotation must identify proposed field methods, personnel, schedule, and level of effort, and include a lump-sum fee. The solicitation requires at least two similar project references completed within the past three years, evidence of professional liability insurance coverage, and demonstration that personnel meet applicable Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology. The attached Standard Archaeological Estimate must be completed. MBE/WBE participation goals are 5% and 3%, respectively, with related solicitation and commitment information required when applicable.
