Description
The Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Nassau County, together with participating school districts and political entities, is establishing a cooperative purchasing price structure for computer hardware, hardware maintenance, software, software maintenance, parts, supplies and consumables, telecommunications systems, and associated products. Labor and professional services are excluded. Vendors must bid discounts against current, unaltered manufacturer list prices and may be awarded by manufacturer, line, category, or item. The bid includes numerous manufacturer product lines and requires authorized-dealer or manufacturer authorization evidence, current manufacturer price lists, and catalog numbers and dates. The initial contract period is not to exceed one year from award, with up to two additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Nassau BOCES online bid and response system or as sealed paper bids. Required submission materials include the bid form, applicable electronic bid attributes, non-collusion certification, sexual-harassment-prevention certification information, Iran Divestment Act certification information, manufacturer certifications or signed and dated manufacturer letters for each quoted product line, and current manufacturer price lists. Paper bids require ink signatures; price lists exceeding ten pages must be submitted on a CD, and flash drives and links are not accepted. Vendors responding to applicable product lines must also complete and return the required personally identifiable information documents, including the Parents' Bill of Rights acknowledgment, supplemental information, data security and privacy plan, and data security and privacy standards agreement.
