Description
The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, Office of the Medical Director, and Health Research, Inc. are seeking one not-for-profit organization to manage a statewide clinical guidelines program. The selected organization will develop and update evidence-based clinical practice guidelines addressing HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, substance use, and LGBTQ+ health; coordinate expert guideline committees and peer, consumer, and public health reviews; conduct literature searches and evidence reviews; provide medical editing and version control; and support health equity and inclusive care. The scope also includes managing and enhancing the program website, disseminating guidelines through websites, newsletters, social media, podcasts, and other channels, supporting implementation research and clinical education partnerships, evaluating guideline use and program performance, and handling administrative activities such as meetings, disclosures, honoraria, reporting, and subcontractor coordination. One statewide award of up to $795,000 annually is anticipated, with an expected State contract period from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032; HRI contracts will use annual terms with up to four additional renewal periods. Applicants must be eligible not-for-profit organizations, prequalified in New York's Statewide Financial System when required, and demonstrate relevant clinical-guideline and website-content experience.
