Description
The Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency seeks an environmental engineering contractor to support an EPA-funded brownfield assessment program. The scope includes inventorying and selecting sites, preparing maps, conducting community outreach and stakeholder meetings, performing preliminary, Phase I, and Phase II environmental assessments, preparing work plans and health and safety plans, conducting site and remedial investigations, developing remediation and redevelopment plans, and preparing reports with sampling results, interpretations, maps, figures, and data tables. The proposal must demonstrate relevant qualifications, identify the assessment team and key personnel, provide resumes and at least three similar project descriptions with references, explain the technical approach for each task, and provide a fee structure. The anticipated contract period runs through September 30, 2030, with a total amount reserved of $472,600. The selected contractor must prepare EPA-approved quality assurance and health and safety plans and comply with specified insurance and federal, state, and local requirements.
