Description
The New York State Office of Mental Health is soliciting preventive maintenance and time-and-material repair services for the generators, fuel systems, controls, batteries, ancillary electrical and mechanical equipment, and related components at Central New York Psychiatric Center. The scope includes minor and major preventive maintenance, periodic engine and coolant services, generator load testing, supplemental load-bank services where required, fuel-oil testing, emergency and non-emergency repairs, technician reporting, and generator test documentation. Work must comply with NFPA 110, prevailing-wage requirements, facility security procedures, and the specified maintenance schedule. The five-year contract covers six generators ranging from 250 kW to 2,120 kW, associated fuel-storage systems, and time-and-material repair allowances. The bid quote sheet identifies a $100,000 time-and-material allowance and requires bidders to submit fixed unit costs and labor rates for the scheduled services. The apparent total bid amount is $100,000, consisting of the stated allowance; preventive-maintenance pricing is to be completed by the bidder. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting the mandatory requirements.
