Description
McHenry County College is soliciting bids for labor, materials, equipment, and installation services to update wayfinding signage throughout its main campus. The work includes repainting and updating existing signs, replacing deteriorated signs, modifying sign faces, fabricating new signs, and providing parking-lot light-pole signage. Signage must maintain the existing campus appearance, colors, style, and design, list departments and locations alphabetically, and include the College’s non-smoking-campus notice where specified. Pricing should include applicable training, installation, setup, delivery, shipping and handling, warranty, repair service, and any other project costs. The bid must be submitted on the provided pricing sheet and includes a required 30% aspirational participation goal under the Illinois Business Enterprise Program for minority-, female-, and disability-owned businesses, or documented good-faith efforts or a waiver request. The solicitation requires at least five years of relevant experience, four or more comparable client references from the last three years, and specified insurance coverage. A performance bond is required for projects exceeding $50,000.
