Description
The U.S. Navy's Fleet Readiness Center East requires semi-annual on-site calibration, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of a Draeger hazardous gas detection system consisting of 19 remote gas sensors, four QuadGard control panels, and one HF retransmission loop. The contractor must provide labor, travel, calibration equipment, NIST-traceable certified calibration gases, material safety data sheets, and genuine OEM replacement parts. The 19 HF gas sensors must be replaced annually, and the annual fee must include those replacements. Optional repairs and parts are separately priced and authorized as needed. The system is located in Shop 93201 within Building 4225. Service visits occur during April and October, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with dates subject to mutual agreement. The company and each proposed technician must have at least two years of documented experience servicing comparable gas-detection systems and must provide experience and qualification documentation. The requirement is a 100% total small-business set-aside with a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. Amendment 0002 adds or revises option-year line items and extends the quote deadline to October 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time.
