Description
Monroe County is requesting qualifications from a firm or individual prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation for Work Group 10.1, Roadway Construction Engineering Inspection, and Work Group 10.3, Construction Materials Inspection. The consultant will provide construction engineering and inspection services for rehabilitation of Key Deer Boulevard north of Watson Boulevard, including roadway and adjacent pedestrian-path repairs, roadway elevation to address sea-level rise, base work, asphalt, striping, maintenance of traffic, signage, surveying, sampling and testing, construction administration, compliance monitoring, public information support, change-order assistance, and final closeout documentation. The anticipated construction period is 10 months, followed by 90 days for FDOT closeout. The estimated construction award date is December 2026 and the estimated construction start date is January 2027; both are identified as estimates. Responses must include a cover page, executive summary, relevant experience and references, project approach and management, staffing and key-personnel qualifications, financial and litigation information, required County and FDOT forms, professional and occupational licenses, and FDOT prequalification documentation. The solicitation is qualifications-based and states that no CEI budget estimate will be published.
