Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure one-time use, FDA-approved, all-inclusive priced at-home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) devices, supplies, and associated services. The goal is to support the diagnosis of sleep apnea through convenient, patient-administered home testing. The contract will include a base period and up to four 12-month option periods. The vendor will be responsible for providing the HSAT devices, patient kits, and all necessary supplies. Services include contacting patients, shipping devices within 10 days of order receipt, assisting patients with device usage, and ensuring real-time electronic delivery of sleep study reports via a VA TRM compliant/VASAAS approved platform. The VA requires the devices to be smartphone-enabled with data transmission to a secure cloud platform, requiring no return, cleaning, or charging. The devices must accurately diagnose both obstructive and central sleep apnea, detect central sleep apnea and Cheyne-Stokes respiration, and provide validated sleep staging. The vendor must also provide monthly reports and comply with HIPAA and privacy requirements.
