SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University intends to purchase Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS) outsourced compounded preparation products through a contract awarded by Premier. The procurement is authorized under New York State Finance Law section 163(3)(vi), allowing commodities to be purchased from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent CAPS outsourced compounded preparation products may contact the designated procurement officer to discuss the procurement. A successful contractor must complete Vendor Responsibility documentation, documents related to New York State Finance Law section 139 and New York State Tax Law section 5-a, and current New York State workers’ compensation and disability forms.
