Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research, not a request for proposal or a commitment to award a contract. The Navy is seeking information from potential suppliers capable of delivering Avionics Block III retrofit kits and associated weapon-replaceable assemblies, sub-tier components, hardware, and parts for F/A-18 F/G and EA-18G aircraft, including U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Air Force configurations. Identified systems include the Advanced Cockpit System, Audio Management System, and Generation 5 Digital Communication System. The requirement is for hardware delivery only. Respondents are asked to provide a one-page, bullet-format capability statement describing their ability to supply the components. It must include company and point-of-contact details, business size, CAGE code and UEI; experience procuring and qualifying obsolete electronic components for military aerospace applications; evidence of access to technical data and specifications; quality assurance processes and certifications; and other relevant capability information. Commercial published price lists, lead times, and current stock levels are also of interest. The statement must be 8.5 x 11 inches, at least 12-point font, and 1.5-line spaced. Responses must be unclassified and submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format. The anticipated period of performance is expected to begin in September 2027.
