Description
St. Clair County Department of Roads and Bridges seeks an IDOT-prequalified consultant to provide Phase I and Phase II preliminary engineering for replacement of the structure carrying Lenzburg East Road, County Highway 68, over Mud Creek. The work includes preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with IDOT and FHWA policies and procedures; environmental reports; project development documentation; utility coordination; coordination and public meetings; construction plans; and land acquisition documentation. Qualifications submissions will be evaluated and ranked on firm experience, specialized experience, staff capabilities, workload capacity, and proximity to the county. The submission must describe the firm, relevant project experience, terms and conditions, at least three similar-project client references, and the personnel proposed for the work. It must also include the completed IDOT BDE DISC2 conflict-of-interest template. The project is funded in part by Local Bridge Formula Program funds, and a March 2029 letting is anticipated.
