Description
The contractor will demolish the existing lift station and construct a replacement sized for current wastewater demand and anticipated facility expansion. Work includes a new wet well and dry well, chopper pumps, force-main and sewer connections, lift-station abandonment, and associated site restoration, fencing, electrical work, and water service components. The project also includes a new control system with flow and equipment-status monitoring and SCADA integration. The solicitation permits equivalent products that meet or exceed the specified functional and performance requirements. The proposal must include a technical narrative and summary construction schedule, relevant lift-station replacement experience, and a firm-fixed-price proposal. Price materials include a completed SF-1442 and the provided J08 schedule; the bid guarantee, Section K or a SAM.gov profile printout, and the J09 self-performed calculation sheet are also required. Past-performance information and the specialized-experience form are optional. The contract is full and open competition, with a HUBZone price evaluation preference; the solicitation states currently estimated available funding of $850,000.
