The USDA Forest Service is seeking a general contractor to perform general maintenance, repair, and construction at government-owned housing facilities, administrative buildings, barracks, storage buildings, and related sites across the Inyo National Forest. Work includes demolition, earthwork, concrete, carpentry, roofing, painting, plumbing, electrical work, flooring, window and door replacement, pest exclusion, structural repairs, and construction of new concrete trailer pads with water, sewer, and electrical services. The project includes base and option work at sites in Lone Pine, Independence, Bishop, Toms Place, Mammoth Lakes, Crestview, Lee Vining, and nearby communities. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and waste disposal. Quotations must include pricing for all base and option line items, a technical approach, a proposed progress schedule, past performance information, a signed Standard Form 1442, and acknowledgment of amendments. The project has a stated magnitude of $1 million to $5 million and a three-year period of performance.
