Description
The City of Dalton is soliciting proposals for mowing and landscaping services at up to seven locations throughout the city. The contractor must provide supervision, labor, materials, equipment, weekly or periodic mowing, edging, blowing, leaf removal, shrub pruning, seasonal flower planting, fertilization, weed removal, and ground-pine-bark mulching. Site-specific requirements include bagging clippings at three locations and mowing Burr Park on Thursday mornings, or Friday mornings before 11:00 a.m. when weather prevents Thursday service. The initial service period is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with two additional one-year renewal options. Proposers must submit pricing for each location and the required proposal materials, including company history and service area, qualifications and assets, references for contracts exceeding $30,000, a notarized E-Verify affidavit, insurance documentation if not an approved city vendor, and the completed bid form. The awarded contractor must maintain workers' compensation coverage and specified liability and automobile insurance, as applicable.
