Description
The Texas A&M Forest Service is soliciting bids for two customized 40-foot high-cube IIRC steel shipping container offices. Each turnkey office must be delivered to Abilene Airport and converted into a watertight, insulated, climate-controlled aviation operations office suitable for outdoor installation in West Texas. The scope includes structural modifications, interior finishes, epoxy flooring, doors and windows, electrical systems, LED lighting, exterior lighting and receptacles, a mini-split heat-pump HVAC system, network and data cabling, a server rack, wireless-access-point infrastructure, communications entry provisions, fire-safety equipment, and a fold-down work or briefing table with television provisions. The bidder must provide pricing, delivery, proposed equipment and capacities, insulation details, warranty information, and compliance with the attached specifications and sketch. A minimum five-year warranty is required for the completed office conversion and workmanship. The solicitation permits email, fax, mail, or hand delivery of bids, with the bid number and opening date included as specified. Insurance requirements include workers’ compensation, automobile liability, commercial general liability, and excess or umbrella liability coverage; the required certificates are due before contract execution and performance rather than with the bid.
