Description
Hastings Area School System is requesting proposals for the installation and implementation of a Valcom IP-based public-address and intercom system at Hastings High School. The project will replace the existing Bogen Multicom 2000 system, remove and dispose of associated legacy components and cabling, and provide a scalable communication platform to improve routine and emergency communications. The contractor must assess the campus and network, furnish all required equipment and materials, install and program the Valcom system, and integrate it with the existing VoIP, SIP, multicast, and fire-alarm infrastructure. The scope includes Valcom software, consoles, LCD displays, call-in switches, speakers, intercom stations, power supplies, cabling, network components as needed, labeling, code-compliant plenum installations, system mapping, staff training, warranty/support, and ongoing technical assistance. Proposals must include the proposed solution, implementation timeline, cost breakdown, qualifications and similar-project references, and support offerings. Vendors must be Valcom Engineered authorized installers or provide adequate Valcom remote technical service support.
