Description
The Town of Edgartown is soliciting a complete, turnkey July 4th fireworks display for 2027. The display must last at least 25 minutes, be 100% electrically fired, and include opening barrage, main display, and grand finale segments. It will be conducted from a contractor-provided barge positioned in the waters outside Edgartown Harbor. The contractor must provide all fireworks and pyrotechnic materials, licensed pyrotechnicians and support personnel, electronic firing equipment, barge rental, marine and towing services, transportation and ferry arrangements, lodging, monitoring and security, insurance, setup, firing, post-display inspection, cleanup, and disposal of hazardous or unexploded materials. Bidders must demonstrate relevant professional and barge-based fireworks experience, hold required Massachusetts pyrotechnic credentials, submit references and licenses, provide firing-system documentation, and complete the required bid, certification, and reference forms. The Town has established a $100,000 maximum base bid and will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
