Description
The project involves the full replacement and assembly of three 500-ton cooling towers and installation of new auxiliary chilled-water connection piping at Government Plaza. The construction period is 120 calendar days. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required; bidders must also hold the applicable Alabama general contractor license. A bid security instrument—a cashier’s check or bidder’s bond—is required with the proposal. Performance and labor-and-materials bonds, along with a certificate of insurance, are required at contract signing, not with the bid.
