Description
Whatcom County Public Works is seeking bids to reconstruct the stop-controlled intersection of Birch Bay-Lynden Road and Blaine Road (SR-548) as a roundabout. Work includes curb, gutter, and sidewalks; reconstruction of stormwater conveyance; new permanent signage; illumination; and related work described in the bid documents. The engineer’s estimate range is $2,000,000–$2,250,000, and the contract has a Federal Small Business Enterprise goal of 9%. Award is to the lowest qualified bidder.
