Description

This one-time construction project involves creating a nutrient-reduction wetland through selective clearing, excavation, grading, approximately 6,000 cubic yards of earthwork, steel sheet-pile installation, drainage tile work, aluminum water-control structures, a stoplog storage structure, riprap with concrete grout, and seeding. The bid schedule includes 2,172 square feet of steel sheet piling, 378 linear feet of pipe installation, 672 tons of riprap, 50 tons of macadam stone, 118 cubic yards of concrete grout, and approximately 17.3 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost is $375,000 to $475,000. All construction work except seeding must be completed by September 15, 2027; buffer and structure seeding must be completed by December 15, 2027, within the applicable seeding windows. Bidders must submit the IMPACS bid items and required forms and attachments, including the Bid Submittal Authorization Form, acknowledgment of addenda, notarized affidavit, and 10 percent bid bond. The successful bidder must provide 100 percent performance and payment bonds and specified insurance coverage.
