Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting standard and custom sterile surgical procedure packs for the Fayetteville Coastal Healthcare System and its associated facilities. Required pack types include Minor Ortho, Minor Surgery, Basic Cystoscopy, Gynecology Laparoscopy, Knee Arthroscopy IV, Standard Major Laparotomy, Surgical Instrument, and Nail Avulsion trays. The solicitation lists quantities for eight line items totaling 576 cases and requires pricing on the SF 1449 schedule. The contractor must provide pack assembly, sterilization, packaging, delivery, inventory management, customization, initial and ongoing training, and replacement of defective or expired components. Packs must remain sterile through use, comply with FDA requirements and applicable industry standards, use TAA-compliant components unless otherwise authorized, and meet specified traceability, labeling, shelf-life, quality-control, substitution, recall, and emergency-delivery requirements. Award will be based on technical capability, past performance, and price.
