Description
The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is seeking proposals from qualified respondents to prepare a comprehensive Wellhead Protection Plan for the Willowbrook Water System. The work will assess and manage risks to the groundwater source supplying the community and must include hydrogeological assessment, wellhead protection area delineation, source-water vulnerability evaluation, contaminant-source inventory, risk assessment, public and interested-party engagement, mitigation measures, and an implementation strategy. The completed plan will provide a science-based framework for the long-term sustainability, safety, and reliability of the water system. The opportunity is for professional engineering and technical consulting services, and proposals must address methodology, team qualifications and relevant experience, schedule, fees and disbursements, references, certifications, contract exceptions, and pricing.
