Description
The Siskiyou County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified professional operators to manage the Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort. The selected operator will be responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and capital improvements at the 270-acre facility, while providing accessible public recreation and complying with the Davis-Grunsky Act (Contract #DGGR16) and the District’s flood control mandates. The opportunity includes a phased transition period from March 1, 2026, through September 30, 2028, followed by full assumption of operations on October 1, 2028. A Q&A document states that franchise fees are currently 5% of all gross sales and 3% of gross restaurant sales, and provides historical franchise-fee revenues ranging from $102,780.22 to $458,520.81.
