Description
The Orlando Utilities Commission is soliciting proposals to replace two existing septic and drain field systems at its Osceola facility. The work includes installation of a 2,000-gallon septic tank and 1,050-gallon pump tank for System 1, a 1,500-gallon septic tank and 600-gallon pump tank for System 2, disposal fields, force mains, pumps, control panels, electrical components, trenching, grading, and related appurtenances. The contractor must verify field conditions and critical elevations, prepare shop drawings, obtain required permits, abandon the existing systems in accordance with Florida requirements, complete inspections and testing, and comply with applicable Florida, Osceola County, building, plumbing, and OSHA requirements. The proposal must include pricing, qualifications, project-specific safety and shop-drawing plans, comparable project experience and references, required compliance forms, and other information identified in the solicitation package. A payment bond and performance bond are required from the awarded supplier when applicable under the stated statutory threshold and at contract execution.
