Description
The Board of Public Safety of the City of Elkhart, Indiana is soliciting sealed bids for approximately 10 police vehicles. Bidders must submit a complete bid package to the Executive Secretary of the Board of Public Safety at the Municipal Building, Third Floor, 229 South Second Street, Elkhart IN 46516. Bids will be accepted between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. (ET) until 9:00 a.m. on July 14th, 2026. Bids received after this deadline will be returned unopened. The winning bidder will be notified no later than Friday, July 17th, 2026. A bid packet can be obtained for $10.00 from the City of Elkhart Central Garage, 1909 W. Mishawaka Rd., Elkhart IN 46517, phone (574) 293-0147. Bids must be submitted on the provided form and include a certified check or bank draft, or a bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Any deviations from specifications must be explained. The Board reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids.
