Description
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) is providing a 30-day public comment period for a draft Minor Source Operating Permit (MSOP) with new source review for Precision Edge Surgical Products. The facility, located at 1910 N Wayne Street, Angola, IN 46703, is seeking to add two abrasive blasting cabinets to their existing operations. IDEM has reviewed the application and developed preliminary findings, including a draft permit and supporting documents, which are available for public review. IDEM is aware that three abrasive blast cabinets (EU0939, EU0940, and EU0942) have been constructed and operated prior to obtaining the necessary permit. The draft permit includes provisions to bring this unpermitted equipment into compliance. The application and preliminary findings have been sent to the Carnegie Public Library of Steuben County and are also available online via IDEM's Virtual File Cabinet (VFC).
