Description
The City of New Buffalo is soliciting bids for the Whittaker Street Shoreline Project. This project involves the construction of a steel sheet pile seawall for the broadside dock, a concrete promenade, and a steel-framed concrete pedestrian pathway. Additionally, the project includes the installation of marina utility pedestals and pedestrian light bollards, improvements to a rain garden, landscaping, and coir log placement for wetland mitigation. Bidding documents can be downloaded from https://www.abonmarche.com/bids/. Prospective bidders are urged to register as a plan holder on this website, as all official notifications and addenda will be distributed through this channel. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents obtained from sources other than this designated website. There will be no pre-bid conference. Technical questions must be submitted by Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET. Contractors are encouraged to purchase American-made equipment and products.
