Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 25 feet of 6-inch-diameter, 10- to 12-foot-long, 4140 steel round bar. The material must be cold finished and annealed, comply with ASTM A29/A29M-20 and SAE AMS2806 requirements, and be supplied in whole-foot lengths of 10, 11, or 12 feet. The solicitation also requires continuous identification markings, applicable military packaging and marking, and a Certificate of Quality Compliance (mill-material certification) with each shipment. Only suppliers listed on the Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors (QSLD) are eligible for award unless a deviation is identified. The quotation must account for destination inspection, FOB-origin delivery, domestic-material restrictions, and the stated quantity variance of plus or minus 10 percent.
