Description
The State of Idaho Division of Public Works is soliciting bids for three electrical service contracts for state facilities in Southwest Idaho. Work may include small electrical repairs, demolition, renovations, new installations, troubleshooting, electrical wiring and equipment work, and 24-hour emergency response. Individual projects will be assigned as needed, with plans and specifications provided for each project; projects may be valued up to $200,000 each. The estimated expenditure is $200,000. Contractors must hold a current Idaho Public Works Contractor's License and perform at least 20% of the work with their own forces. The contract term is one year, with two one-year extensions. A $10,000 bid security is required. Performance and payment bonds are required for individual projects over $50,000; these are due after notice of intent to award. The solicitation anticipates awards to four lowest responsive bidders, despite advertising three contracts.
