The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is soliciting a qualified contractor to provide on-site Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist services supporting dental procedures at Central State Hospital/Hiram W. Davis Medical Center. Services include scheduled on-site clinics, primarily for moderate intravenous sedation, pre- and post-anesthesia examinations, patient monitoring and discharge from recovery, clinical documentation, and participation in anesthesia-related peer review and quality-assurance activities. Providers must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia, maintain required licenses and certifications, comply with applicable Department of Health, Joint Commission, Medicare/Medicaid, DBHDS, privacy, and HIPAA requirements, and be available to commence services immediately upon award. The initial contract period runs from award through two years, with three successive one-year renewal options. Pricing is requested on an hourly basis, and the solicitation requires a Vendor Data Sheet, State Corporation Commission Form, and Small Business Subcontracting Plan with the response.
