SCHOOL DISTRICT U-46 Elgin, Illinois INVITATION TO BID School District U-46 is currently accepting bids for Whiteboards and Tackboards *Specifications are available for download from the School District's RFP/Bid Portal at EUNA Procurement (formerly known as Bonfire) starting on NOVEMBER 2, 2026 @ 8:00 AM CST. Registration is required to access the specifications, however, registration is easy and free! Bids are due on or before FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2026 @ 9:00 AM CST electronically through the School District's RFP/Bid Portal stated above. Description
School District U-46 seeks bids for whiteboards and tackboards in various sizes, purchased on an as-needed basis over a five-year term. Whiteboards must be porcelain steel markerboards with standard aluminum trim. Tackboards must have aluminum trim, vinyl fabric over a 7/16-inch insulation-board substrate, a 7/8-inch anodized aluminum trim profile, hairline mitered corners, and vinyl treated to resist odor- and stain-causing microbes. The pricing sheet lists estimated annual quantities for multiple sizes and requires bidders to provide product make/model details, unit pricing, and product links. The awarded vendor must deliver products to the District’s Distribution Center within 30 days of receiving each purchase order, coordinate deliveries with District staff, and provide warranty information. The lowest bidder must furnish samples after bid opening for specification verification. The bid response also requires a title page, completed bid form and pricing sheet, specification acknowledgments, warranty information, three references and similar-project listings, and a statement regarding litigation.
