Description
Fulton County, Georgia is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide armed and unarmed security services for the Fulton County Police Department. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing security officers and supervisors at various county facilities throughout Fulton County. Services include operating x-ray screening machines and metal detectors, conducting interior and exterior patrols, controlling access to buildings, responding to alarms, detaining individuals when necessary, and performing emergency response duties such as evacuation and first aid. The contractor must also provide management and supervisory staff, including an Account Manager and Security Supervisors, and ensure all personnel meet stringent hiring requirements including background checks, drug screening, physical fitness, and proper licensing. The contract will have a base term of one year with two optional one-year renewals, with services expected to commence on January 1, 2027.
