Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 11 feet of aluminum alloy drawn, seamless tubing, type 5052, temper 0, with a 3.500-inch outside diameter, 0.049-inch wall thickness, and random lengths from 10 to 12 feet. The tubing must comply with SAE AMS-WW-T-700/4B and the specified technical and quality requirements, including metal certification and applicable CDRLs. The requirement includes destination inspection and acceptance, FOB-origin delivery, military packaging under MIL-STD-2073-1E, marking under MIL-STD-129, and packaging under ASTM B660. The solicitation states that quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System and that the item is subject to domestic-material restrictions and applicable nonmanufacturer and subcontracting rules.
