Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting a quotation for 12 front steering gears, identified by NSN 2530-01-340-1637, for a military vehicle application. The requested item is a critical application part, with listed approved sources and part numbers including R. H. Sheppard Co., Inc. P/N 592SCW5; Fasttrax Ltd P/N 1796670; and Oshkosh Defense LLC P/N 1796670. The supplies must be delivered within 316 days after delivery order and are subject to destination inspection and acceptance. Packaging must comply with the stated DLA requirements, including applicable hazardous-material packaging, ASTM D3951 commercial packaging when nonhazardous, MIL-STD-129 marking, and palletization requirements. The solicitation is not a small-business set-aside, and quotations must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
