Description
Sioux Falls School District 49-5 is seeking a qualified firm to provide employee health and benefits broker and consulting services. The scope includes developing and evaluating benefits-plan requests for proposals, negotiating renewals and contracts, reviewing claims and provider administrative costs, analyzing plan finances, recommending plan changes and premium adjustments, and advising on self-funded and fully insured health plans. The selected broker will also support health, dental, life, disability, cafeteria, wellness, employee assistance, HRA, HSA, and FSA programs; provide compliance guidance; assist with plan design, implementation, communications, employee education, claims and coverage issues, and contract-performance reviews; prepare recurring financial and claims reports; and participate in district committee, employee, management, and board meetings as needed. Respondents must address firm qualifications, relevant public-school experience, proposed personnel, licensing in South Dakota, conflicts and affiliations, provider relationships and compensation, methodology, references, fees, and a sample consultant contract.
