Description
The City of Colville is soliciting sealed bids for its annual Fiscal Year 2027 purchase of winter maintenance sand. The product must meet Washington State Department of Transportation Specification No. 2 for winter traction sand and be suitable for use in PM-10 reduction zones. Equivalent or superior products may be considered at the City's sole discretion. Award evaluation will consider price per yard, delivery fees to a stockpile in Colville, and the bidder's ability to meet the minimum specifications. The City may elect to pick up the sand instead of accepting delivery. If delivery is selected, the successful bidder must complete delivery to the on-site stockpile by November 8, 2027.
