Description
The City seeks a contractor to provide residential garbage and recycling collection within city limits, including containers, transportation, processing and disposal, customer service, and related administration. The scope also includes annual Citywide Clean-Up Week, curbside Christmas tree collection, and ongoing monitoring, collection, and disposal services for a designated recycling center. Seasonal curbside leaf collection is an optional alternate. Proposers must separately price required service lines and describe service plans, schedules, equipment, disposal arrangements, customer support, and pricing assumptions. Proposals must include a completed Attachment A Proposal Price Sheet and the requested narrative covering qualifications, municipal references, equipment and staffing, safety, insurance, and service plans. Attachment B Proposer Certification and Attachment C Exceptions to RFP Requirements are also included in the solicitation package. Contract alternatives are three, five, or seven years; service is anticipated to begin February 1, 2027.
