INVITATION TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be received by the Sheffield City Board of Education, until 2:00 P.M., legally prevailing time, on September 10, 2026 for the L.E. Willson Elementary School Window Replacement in the Board Room at the Sheffield City Board of Education, 300 W. 6th Street, Sheffield, Alabama 35660, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Sheffield City Board of Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the office of the Architect, Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., 802 Shoney Drive SW, Suite E, Huntsville, Alabama, and Datatek Reprographics, 2108 Island Circle, Huntsville, AL 35801 Bid documents may be

Description
The Sheffield City Board of Education is soliciting sealed proposals for the L.E. Willson Elementary School Window Replacement project. Bids will be publicly opened on September 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Sheffield City Board of Education must accompany each proposal in an amount of at least 5 percent of the bid, capped at $10,000. Performance and payment bonds, along with evidence of insurance, will be required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the Architect's office and at Datatek Reprographics.
